Day Habilitation (Day-Hab)
The onsite Day-Hab Program was started in 1994 and currently serves 61 people.  We have a green house to teach horticulture skills, a ceramic's program and our own kiln so we can do our own firing on the premises, and a dye cutting machine. We make a variety of ceramic pieces along with dye cutting items for cards, stationary, etc. We sell these items to the public and proceeds go back into our program to purchase more supplies.  The individuals are so proud to take part in making crafts and selling them for profit. Not only is it a real self-esteem booster, but it also gives the individuals a real sense of pride and ownership. Our Day Habilitation program is set up to provide activities to individuals geared toward acquiring and maintaining the skills necessary to become a contributing member in their community.
